A good reading　　（2008-09-01）
Actually I did not read this English book, simply because I found/read its Japanese translation first. Nevertheless, I can easily imagine what is written in the "original" English. Among the seven chapters, I would recommend to read Chapter 6 first, about the epock-making discovery of Gleevec, the first signal therapeutic of CML, a rare blood cancer. It is an ideal model case for developing the signal therapy of cancers, NF (neurofibromatosis) and several other formidable diseases for which abnormal activation or dysfunction of signal transducers is responsible.
