子供が夢中に！！　　（2008-11-24）
　Halloweenの、怖くてユーモアたっぷりなあの雰囲気が好きな方！！！家族で楽しむドキドキHalloweenにおすすめします。
　
　当初、この本を買っては見たものの、隠れているものを発見するのもかなり難しそうで、絵はかなり怖〜いだけに、子供に受入れてもらえるのか…と心配しました。ところが、結構見つけてしまうものですね！！！大人も真剣に探してしまいます。

　scary scary town を通り抜けて、hilltop castle へ『冒険』に行く…という世界観が見事に表現されており、子供も何度も何度もドキドキ、ワクワクしながらこのクリスマスにデコレーションされた部屋の中でon a scary scary night を読み続けています。
BGMは、wee sing for Halloween です。…部屋はクリスマスなのに。（笑）

　英語の勉強としてではなく、子供が自然と気に入ってこの雰囲気を味わってくれたことが何よりです。

眺めて楽しい　　（2008-10-22）
本を開いた時の見開きの写真の美しさ、テーマの一貫性については、"I spy"の"Spooky Night"より、こちらに軍配が上がるでしょう。まだクイズは解いていないのですが、なんだか眺めるだけで満足してしまっています。

I grew up on I Spy　　（2008-09-21）
And that upbringing didn't quite prepare me for this. This book can be HARD, with things very well hidden. One spread is of a night sky where the clouds are supposed to resemble things. Wow. This isn't simply finding something hidden in a picture--the elements of the picture are just as likely to be morphed. For a younger child this might be a bit much. Still, the pictures are absolutely beautiful. I could frame these. This is a good book for Halloween art, with a bonus of hidden pictures. 3.5 stars.
