Witty and engaging　　（2006-06-21）
I haven't read Julia Quinn's novel for quite some time, but now I've set my mind to read more of her funny and lovely stories.
The hero of this book, Colin Bridgerton, the third son of the influential Brigerton brood, is a handsome, charming, and dashing 33-year-old, who couldn't set aside his wandering lust. The heroin is the plain 28-year old Penelope, who fell in love with Colin when she was 17, but has casted herself forever a spinster. The story also involved a "misterious" society column writer, Mrs. Whistledown who became the "ton's" latest passion.
This book is perfect for people who want to read light but funny romance.
